Denver Family Law Attorney Rachel Catt Announces New Law Firm Focusing on LGBTQ Family Law

The opening of the Law Office of Rachel Catt is a milestone in Rachel’s impressive career spanning nearly two decades. Since 2002, Rachel has represented clients in divorce, high-conflict child custody, and LGBTQ family law. Her focus has always been fighting against discrimination, representing those with unique family circumstances, and bringing complex family legal issues to conclusion through collaborative dispute resolution whenever possible. When trial is necessary, Rachel’s extensive courtroom experience and aggressive representation ensure the best possible outcomes for her clients. In addition, Rachel has spent years managing the legal and cultural nuances of same-sex family relationships and deeply understands the legalities of these types of cases.

Rachel is also an active speaker and thought-leader on family law issues and alternative dispute resolution for marriages and civil unions. Rachel shares her knowledge through continuing education courses to organizations like the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Women’s Bar Association (Board Member, 2018 – 2020), the Arapahoe County Bar Association, AIDS Legal Referral Panel, Metro Denver Interdisciplinary Committee, and the San Francisco State Paralegal Studies Program. In 2019, Rachel served as the President of the Colorado LGBT Bar Association.

Despite often contentious circumstances, Rachel has been successful in leading her clients to amicable resolution. “In my practice, the most positive outcomes occur when I’m able to help a client come to a resolution with his or her key family relationships still intact,” Rachel says. “I believe that resolution through mediation makes this outcome more likely.”

The Law Office of Rachel Catt is located at 950 S. Cherry Street, Suite 300 Denver, CO 80246. Please visit her online at RachelCattLaw.com to learn more about the services her new firm will offer those dealing with complex family law issues.
